It's time for our Etsy Inspired Challenge. I wanted to make a little CAS card this week so that I could try out my new WPlus9 'Ever After' stamps. Ooh, I do love these stamps! They are really nice to use and stamp perfectly every time. The only extra I added was Papertrey Ink's Dotty Biscotti Paper, a Martha Stewart punch and a Prima Pearl for the centre of the flower. Simples!
This week our shop is Desired Things;
'Desiredthings is full of quirky jewellery and abstract art, made using a variety of different techniques. Each piece is unique. I like to use beads, polymer clay, resin, paper, fabric, paints and wire... the list is endless. You may see faces included in some shape or form in many of the pieces, I like face'
There is lots of inspiration in this little shop and I wasn't sure what I wanted to make at first but I was inspired by these images. The first one made me think of dots/circles..
This next one made me want to make something in purple which isn't a colour I use that often but I do really like it.
Other things I love are..
Especialy that last mixed media one, what FAB colours together!
There is a £10 prize (around $16) prize up for grabs this week from Desired Things, so make sure you join in for your chance to win.
Our second prize is sponsored by Sparkle Creations. They have a Birthday Josh rubber stamp up for grabs, see here.
Don't forget to pop on over to check out what the rest of the DT made and then check our main blog for any bits of information that I may have missed! Libby Hickson is our guest designer this month, she is on the Play Date Cafe DT with me and I can assure you that you will love her work, it's an inspiration!!!
