PDCC & Some Snowman Fun

Hello again!

We have another fun Color Splash over at The Play Date Cafe this week.  This time the challenge is to use black, white and a splash of aqua.  My aqua is looking a bit blue but I promise it is aqua, I think it's the background colour I used.

I chose to make this little snowman tag using Paper Smooches stamps and a sentiment from Lawn Fawn.  I had this yummy die from Memory Box which needed using.  I’ve started using these on my Christmas pressies.

We have a fun sponsor this week, Cindy Coutts. She makes some gorgeous things. She’s offering up a fun prize too, for more information pop over to our main PDCC blog.

You’ll also see some more yumminess from our DT girls while you’re there too so make sure you visit their blogs and leave some love.

Must dash, lots more cards to make that really do need to be posted!

Mwah!

Hi there

‘Tis me again!  It’s Thursday so time for another Play Date Cafe challenge.  Today we are sponsored by Stampotique and I chose this fun little character and a ‘Mwah’ sentiment and ‘x’.  I actually do say ‘Mwah’ to my friends as a joke so thought it would be fun to send to others but also to make something for myself.  I always tend to make things for others but not for me, do you ever do that?  I remember what our fab friend and ex-teamie Sarah Anderson once said to me about art journalling..that sometimes it’s nice just to stamp in a journal for the sake of it so that you can see all of the lovely stamps that you’ve bought rather than just giving them away.  You buy them because you like them so why not enjoy them too!

Look at these wickedly delicious colours for you this week!  I decided to make a tag, I may add it to a card base to make into a card or I may just keep it for me for a journal, I haven’t decided yet.  Decisions, decisions…

You just have to check out the other girls' projects for this week, they are my absolute favourite so far, really fun!!

For all the details of what’s up for grabs pop on over to the main Play Date Cafe blog.
Supplies are listed below.  I borrowed the pinking sheared circle dies from Pauline Pillington but didn’t take down the name and I can’t seem to find them, but I think they may be Nellie’s nesties.

If you haven’t had chance to sponsor Julie’s blog hop yet you can click on my button in the sidebar.  The prizes are around $2500 the last time I checked which is brilliant.

Ciao for now!
