Hi there everyone
I hope the sun is shining on you wherever you are, either literally or just in life in general!
Today’s challenge card is a little quirky! Check out our DEE-LISH-OUS colours this week, aren’t they FUN!
I made this card for Ian’s Mum for an early birthday present she bought me, it’s a printer and life is good now in Ruby’s office world. My old printer was awful, this one even prints onto my cryogen cardstock, unheard of. I’ve told my printer off so many times I’m surprised it printed for me at all!
The sad yet a little funny story is that she had four chickens but found out one of them was a cockerel so he’s had to go back to the breeder. The reason it’s funny is because when I uploaded this card I realised that my red hen has no eyelashes! I’m not sure if you can see but I’d added them to the other three but not to ‘him’. Maybe I knew! I’m so sorry Mum, I’d already sent the card before you told me! I hope you forgive me.
I haven’t been able to meet the deadlines of the Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday series, but I’ve made a note of some of my favourite ones to try out, this was the one where you have a shape cut out of the card and tie on some kind of twine/ribbon.
After I made this card I noticed that I had subliminally used the colour story without realising, have you ever done that?! I mailed the team to see if they thought it would pass, so I went with it as my card for the week. All of the key colours are there, but obviously there are a couple of extras thrown in! Even the coloured spots are like my patterned paper lol.
This is what I did inside..
and a close up of the now boy chuck!
Don’t you just LoVe Lawn Fawn stamps, they are SO happy! They always make me smile!
We are really pleased to welcome Denise January and Julie Day on board with us, so do pop by and leave a comment on their debut posts.
