My new CMC card - Metallics!

Hi everyone

It's time for another Color Me Creative challenge.  This one is really fun!

This week we have a tricky challenge (tricky if you're only learning Copics that is!).  You have to colour metallics.  Well as a beginner I needed a bit of help and the wonderful AnaRy was a star, she taught me all that I needed to know for this card.  I thought I'd find practicing really annoying, I like things to work straight away, but I'm actually really enjoying the journey with these pens.  It's fun colouring images over a few times and seeing the progress from one to the next!

Tracy, if you're reading this, just start a class, we can compare notes then.  You'll LoVe it!!  :o)

Pop on over to the DT to see what they've made ...

Supplies:

Stamps: Hero Arts 'Kiss the Cook', Lawn Fawn 'Sophie's Sentiments'
Dies: Spellbinders Rectangle & Rectangle Scallop
Paper: Basic Grey 'June Bug', Bo Bunny
Accessories: Stickles, Tim Holtz distressing tool for edges
Copics* Cafetiere  - C7, C5, C3, C1, * Teacup (& Cafetiere) - R29, R27, R24, YG07, YG06, YG03

It was Mother's Day yesterday in the UK.  I had a lovely day, other than I was losing my voice lol

I had a Mother's Day banner made for me, I got these GORGEOUS goodies from my princess, I had breakfast made for me, watched a movie and got time to make cards before my dinner was cooked for me, luverly!  We were supposed to be going out, but I wasn't feeling so great.

Oh yes and I even had a poem made for me, and a speech!!!!

I am the proudest Mummy in the world!  My little princess IS my world, she makes me smile each and every day. Yes, sure she drives me crazy sometimes (can any mother honestly say they don't!) but I'm sure when she's a teenager I'll pay that one back lol, but she is so much fun to be around.  She has a really wicked sense of humour, she has the kindest heart and always wants to make sure everyone is having the happiest time they can have.  I truly cannot imagine my life without her.   So thank you Tink, for my wonderful pressies, but also for making the job of being your Mummy the best thing in the world!!

I'm sure my Marmie will read this at some point too, she's my biggest fan!!  So if you're reading Marmie, I just hope I can do as good a job at being a Mum as you did for me! I think I turned out pretty ok, didn't I!!!

Funnily enough, I felt terrible too on Mother's day, had a horrible migraine that just wiped me out.
