Hi everyone. I have a bittersweet message today. I am stepping down from The Play Date Cafe. I have been on the team for over two and a half years and while it will always feel like family to me I need to focus on my life goals now, one of which is to run my Life Coaching Business. Whenever I do anything I like to give it 100% so when I’m not able to do that I know that it’s time to make some changes. While I’ve been finalising my second coaching studies course I’ve been finding it more and more difficult to keep up with commenting. Every time I see a comment come in I feel a pang of guilt wondering at what point I will be able to return the lovely compliment (so if I owe you one then please forgive me!!!)
Sad though this is I will still play along from time to time because I love my Play Date Cafe.
Julie Murray, thank you for the most WONDERFUL time with the Play Date Cafe. You have been a fabulous boss lady, you took me on when I knew nothing about design teams or challenges and you believed in me, giving me the confidence to grow as a designer. You absolutely love your challenge and put every fibre of your being into making it a successful one, long may that continue. More importantly though you’ve become my lovely friend!
So PDCC girls I won’t say goodbye, but I will say see you around in blogland! Keep up the fab work.
Ciao for now!

ReplyDeleteI saw this over on the PDCC Blog. I know you will be missed, Ruby! Your designs are so playful and colorful and happy, and that's always a bright spot to anyone's day. I, too, was overwhelmed by the commenting; but that's one of the things that makes the PDCC such a great place to play, too. We'll leave it for those that have time for such. Love you, girl!
