Royal 30!

Hey there everyone. I know two posts in two days, amazing for me huh?!

I have a card that I'd like to share with you tonight. I've been meaning to put this on for AGES. I made it for my Swedish friend's 30th birthday. She loves crowns and black and white so it was perfect for her. She's fab, like a sister to me. I wanted to keep it quite simple but classy (a bit like her lol) Only joking Sis!! Hope she liked it :o) I'm going to be in SO much trouble if she reads this entry! ;o)

I cut out a piece of black/silver DP and using my *new* Martha Stewart hole punch I punched a strip of black bazzill which I stuck at the bottom of the card. I wrapped a piece of white ribbon around the top of the DP before matting it onto a piece of silver card. I then cut out a crown in silver, adding swarowski gems. I finished it all of with a '30th' sticker.

Dies: Crown - Cuttlebug 'Paper Dolls' Cartridge
Paper
: DCWV 'All Dressed Up', Bazzill cardstock in black, silver cardstock
Accessories: Swarowski Gems, 30th sticker and ribbon from stash, Martha Stewart punch

Have a great evening!

Ps.. What do you think of the bright pink background? That's the colour of one of my new studio's walls. I don't usually 'do' pink but I LOVE it!
