A Card & Some News!

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Thanks for popping by.

I have some really exciting news, well exciting to me anyway!  Emily over at Make The Day Special asked me to join her design team.  She knows I’m a Lawn Fawn and Paper Smooches addict and has invited me to play along with my favourite stamps.  It took me all of umm 2 seconds to say yes lol.
imageI’m really looking forward to being on the team and sharing some makes using these gorgeous stamps.  If you want to see all of the fabulousness on offer pop on over to the Make The Day Special Blog and check out what she has.  She specialises in sourcing difficult to get hold of stamps for us UK guys and gals!

I will leave you with my card and invite you to pop on over to the Make The Day Special Blog for the details.

Paper Issues have a new challenge on for chevron, so I’m going to link up my card over there.  If you love the new on-trend chevron design then pop on over and link something up.

I just got me a new Lawn Fawn Chevron Backdrops set so I’m looking forward to playing with that when I get five minutes to spare!

It's half term here for the next couple of weeks so I will either get lots of time to play or none, who knows but I will try and be back soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hi everyone

To those of you that celebrate Happy Thanksgiving!!

I was asked to make a card for my Mum for her American friend and this was inspired by the leaves on the inspiration picture over at the latest Lawnscaping’s challenge..

I was also inspired by a leaflet that came in the post with a green background and falling leaves.  It’s funny where you get inspiration from sometimes!

Happy Thanksgiving 2
You may remember me saying that we have no Play Date Cafe challenge this week because our current challenge is running for two weeks to give players a bit more time over the holiday period, so there is plenty of time to play along.  Here’s my original post for more information.

Hope you’re enjoying the celebrations.  If you’re not celebrating then I hope you've had a fabulous Thursday!

Play Date Cafe & Lawn Fawn

Woohoo, it’s one of my favourite of all time companies sponsoring us for our Play Date Cafe challenge this time!  I does love me some Lawn Fawn!

I used three Lawn Fawn sets to create this mad card!  That little turkey makes me giggle, he’s so funny!  I used Quinn’s ABC’s, Turkey Day and the leaf is from Harvest Season.

The colours this week seemed to scream Autumn at me!  The suggested colours are Maroon, Copper and Turmeric.  Hope I got them about right!

Pop on by the rest of the DT at the main Play Date Cafe blog to see what they’ve created, there’s loads of inspiration there for you!  You can also find out all about our fun prize.

Our challenge this time will run for two weeks.  We know how busy it can get with families so busy with Thanksgiving, so that means you get more time to play, woohoo!

As I type this post I am falling asleep, it’s been oh such a very long day, but in a good way.

Have fun!
