A Simple Card Using My Fave Die Cut Flower

Hi everyone, I hope you’re having a great week so far!

It’s Play Date Cafe challenge day and here is what I created….
PDCC 149
using these gorgeous colours… Orchid, Sea Foam & Tangerine

Orchid, Sea Foam, Tangerine
I know some of you will be shocked by my bright colours for a sympathy card, but having been through the grieving process myself I always found the colourful cards I received brightened my day so much more than the traditional type, so I have made it my thing ever since to only send cards with some colour on.  I just hope people get the same from them that I did when I received mine.  Here’s hoping!

We are being sponsored by the fab Simon Says Stamp this week.  For all of the details of the prize up for grabs and how to play along with us, check out the rest of the wonderful DT inspirational pieces pop on over to the main PDCC blog.

I’ve been very lazy lately in leaving my list of supplies.  I just haven’t had the time to do the linky thing but you still might want to know what I’ve used, so I will leave you with a little list.

It was my birthday yesterday and my gorgeous hubbie (still feels weird saying that as we’ve only been married just under 4 months) took the day off to spend some time with me.  He’s off today too, so we are going to make the most of the lovely sunshine and autumnal feeling weather (my fave time of year!)

Have fun!

Supplies:
Papers: MME The Sweetest Thing ‘Tangerine’, lilac Bazzill cardstock
Dies: Quickutz ‘Flower’
Stamps: PTI Think Big Favourites #3

  4. Happy Belated Birthday my Dear Sweet Blog Friend! LOVE this flower card and I think the colors are PERFECT for a sympathy card - brings a little brightness into an otherwise horrible reason to receive a card.
